Looking back, moving forward: gratitude for 2025
As the year draws to a close, we pause to reflect on all that 2025 has brought us — some challenges, even more opportunities, and thankfully many moments of growth.
Every step has reminded us of the importance of collaboration, shared purpose and, yes, kindness. Working in hospitality, we are fortunate to work with people for whom “being kind” is not only part of the job description but an overall attitude. Especially in times when algorithms in “social” media prefer — or create — outrage, this characteristic of our industry becomes more and more noticeable.
This year, too, some touristic regions have been, and still are, confronted with economic headwinds and struggles. While they are certainly not pleasant, a look at real, life-threatening challenges often helps to keep a sound perspective.
