Grateful season greetings
Grateful? This year? A resounding yes. Maybe it is even more obvious this year that we too often take too many things for granted.
Reflecting just for a moment makes it clear for everybody that there are truly many things to be grateful for. Of course, this year was kind of “different,” with many firsts for almost everyone. Entering a bank with a face covered by a mask was definitely one of them.
It was — and still is — challenging for many, especially the hospitality industry. But it is also with gratefulness that we see how science and technology came up with a vaccine in record time, delivering the proverbial “light at the end of the tunnel.” However, vaccines are no solution; only vaccination is.
To get this job done globally also needs people like Médecins Sans Frontières. They have big challenges ahead of them, and we are happy that we can stand behind them through donating — another thing to be grateful for.
